At FJ&B, we recognise that there is a growing demand for the reduction of energy usage within the built environment.
We are conscious of the impacts our work can have on premises efficiency, therefore we ensure this is always at the forefront of any projects we carry out. We offer a range of services which are both compliant with building regulations, in addition to enhancing the ongoing performance of projects into the future; with the aim of enhancing the overall longevity of facilities.
EXISTING BUILDING ASSESSMENTS
We can go into existing facilities and carry out assessments on how to improve the energy efficiency and operating costs of the systems.
PART L COMPLIANCE
We can carry out building modelling and production of the BRUKL (Building Regulations UK Part L) certification required, which goes hand in hand with our portfolio of design services.
DAYLIGHTING ASSESSMENTS
We have the capabilities to perform daylighting assessments needed to satisfy the requirements of the Building Bulletin Output Specification; particularly for educational buildings.
OVERHEATING ASSESSMENTS
We perform overheating assessment and compliance in-line with BB101 and CIBSE TM59 respectively (Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers - Technical Memorandum 59), for both educational and residential applications.
ENERGY STATEMENTS
As part of planning applications we can produce the energy statement in-line with national policies, the GLA (Greater London Authority), London plan and any regional or other policy requirements.
